The 005 #espritdaiquiri captures with remarkable purity the mineral character of the volcanic terroir of Le Carbet, where red, cinnamon, and zikak sugarcane varieties are organically grown.
Supported by the bright, fresh acidity of lime juice, its clear aromatic and flavour profile also reveals a deliciously liqueur-like and saline character.
Colour: pale gold.
Nose: delicate and precise. At first, aromas of lime supported by notes of vesou and cane sugar syrup create an opening sequence full of freshness and vitality.
With aeration, the profile becomes more liquorice- and floral-driven (linden blossom), while lime remains dominant.
Palate: lively and fresh. Faithful to the nose, the flavour profile is again citrus-driven and gently liqueur-like, with cane sugar syrup tactfully coating the palate.
Over time, a mouthwatering salinity emerges, gradually giving way to increasingly tropical notes (pineapple, passion fruit).
Finish: vibrant and tangy. Enhanced by a touch of freshly grated ginger and cinnamon, flavours of vesou and lime—pure and expressive—flow generously across the palate.
